His first line inthe description: "Starting with a low mileage, rust free 1974 318 Barracuda from Colorado, this car was completely disassembled, media blasted and restored as a 1971 Cuda 440 6 pack."

Or 71 tail lights. The only thing that resembles a 71 is the billboard stripe.

Neat car but a couple of tall tale claims in the ad. I picked one and sent him this

Hey Bud, Great car!!
You probably should hold off on the original Limelight claim. Clearly it is an orginal burnished red metallic car. (brown) GE7 on your fendertag and a very common color in '74.  Otherwise I love what you've done with it!!
Pete

I sure would like to ad this one to the fleet though  :grinyes:

Dipsh*ts like that are the reason the cuda market is out of controll.
He's just trying to make a quick buck.

He wants your credit information.. :sly:

To place a bid of US $15,000.00 or more, you'll need to provide a valid credit card or complete the ID Verify process ($5).

I think what he "may" have been meaning or meant to put was restored LIKE a 1971 Cuda?  :dunno:

Not sure but this is one of the funniest parts of the entire advert.

Wow. That is truly sad.

A 1974 Cuda with billboards and a 440-6 is just that, not a 71. No matter what the big money crazies out there want you think. :villagers:

What is sad is that it looks like he's done a pretty good job on the restoration and as such probably over-capitalised what will always be a '74 Cuda.  A similar quality job on a real '71 would have had everybody drooling.  Nonetheless, just looks like he's trying to jump on the bandwagon and cash in on the hype.
