It's Tony time!
« on: July 09, 2007 - 01:24:14 PM »
Now that the CudaGuy project is finished, I want to take some time for myself and tinker on my first love. My 70 Challenger conv. (Mrs Fishn does get a little jealous) :smilielol:

Starting with upper and lower balljoints, shocks and brakes. Also have to fix an exhaust shop screw up. Pass side exhaust touching the oil filter. She's not perfect, but someday will be. :2thumbs: :working:

 :dunno: Tony, ya just get home (or the shop) and your already working again? Man, you deserve to at least take the rest of the week off and just relax with the family and think back of the last few days.  :cheers:  But I can see your excitement about getting the vert. worked over some............I guess she will be  beside the c-c.c tent next year at Carlisle, right?  :cheers:  :cheers:  :2thumbs:

I have this bad habit of taking a car all the way down and being too picky with detail. I'm just a perfectionist, always critising my own work. I plan to start a new thread in the resto section. Maybe there should be a new section labeled "Tony Time" by L. A. Miller Restoration. JK. :smilielol: I just love my Mopars and what I do Best.

It goes without saying that you deserve to do whatever turns your crank. You pulled off a miracle on Don's car, and odds are you'll do the same with the Challey, good luck on her. BTW, haven't heard much about the "Save my A$$ Cuda", or am I just out of the loop. See ya at the Nat's

For now, I plan to get everything mechanically roadworthy. Recover the seats. Then take it to Nats in Columbus, OH.

The save my butt Barracuda has been back burnered because of waiting for parts to arrive. Seams like everything I need has been on back order. Especially the Palco panels. Been on order since Feb. :pullinghair: :banghead:

As for the Challenger, if the Cuda sells, I plan to take it down this winter.

Tony,, after what you did the last few weeks, I'd say put the tools down and pick up the fishing pole, take the family to the lake and relax for a few days,,,, You deserve it!!!!!!!

Very cool colors on that one Tony, are they original? If so I need a good photo of one in your combination for this page;

http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/colorsExt/colorsExt-FT6.shtml

Finding them with the side moldings intact is pretty rare these days.  :wave:

Thanks,
Barry
