Passenger Mirror Location
« on: July 09, 2007 - 01:27:54 PM »
I purchased a pair of the 1970 Challenger chrome mirrors from the folks at PG Classic and am extremely happy with them.  I have not installed them yet, but will be doing so soon.  My Challenger currently does not have a passenger side mirror.  Can anyone tell me where the mounting holes should be placed on the passenger door?  I'm hoping to learn of the location measurements before I get too frustrated and just "wing it".  Thanx

I measured mine once upon a time. They are the same as the driver's side.

Barry has a good write up of how to add another mirror here http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/mirrors.shtml f I were to add a mirror on the pass side I would use the same measurements from the driver side  :dunno:

Let me know if you want to buy the NAPA thread tool from me.  I bought it new from NAPA and only used it once for this purpose.  I think it cost $129 new.  You (or anyone else) can make me an offer for it.
