Daytona for sale
« on: July 09, 2007 - 05:51:13 PM »
:screwy:   I loved the green daytona for sale for 145k. The car looked like it had been rolled and then submerged in water for a year. The show was great though, getting to see some of the member's cars(they were great looking). Maybe next year I'll be brave and speak to some of you!

I laughed at that one when it was still in the trailer, and went back after they unloaded it and laughed even harder.Supposed to be one of three in that color----OK so its rare, but man----I am speechless.Prices were very high on most parts and cars, but there were a few deals out there and most were willing to talk(saw a beautiful cuda frt. rubber bumper with brackets $700 and would talk a little)Did anyone see that orange 70 challenger rear clip?If you know who owns it please put me in contact with them.It was in the first row that faced the school.

Hey moparclown, I saw you in your shirt(pretty hard to miss!).I think I saw you making a deal on a cup of fries. There were lots of parts to be had, some for half decent prices. We bought a hood for the challenger. What a show, every year it seems to grow.

I agree, there were some good deals---I had a guy talked down to $80 for a mint 71 rear bezel and I mean mint and I walked away hoping to haggle some more on Saturday and I couldn't find the guy.I was hoping to find a repoped T/A hood, found one original at $800 and passed on that. The fries were good but that damn sausage called ---The Big Smokie---That should be served with a quart of pepto Bismo

Thanks for the link Barry.

Here is a pic of the Daytona.  Looks like he started working on it  by spraying that primer then leaving it outside. That'll slow it down.

I saw that on Saturday Clown, don't know who the guy was though. Doug (dougs bs23) and I both said "look another trailer..."  :smilielol: It was in very good shape inside the trunk too. I think it had a price of 2600.
