« on: July 10, 2007 - 08:57:28 AM »
I just looked at the Carlisle website and saw I got second place in the modified 70-71 Challenger catagory.  :jumping:

Did anyone else place in their catagory?

Congrats Mike.  If you had a clue, you could have stayed for the trophy presentation.

Congrats Shelby, to you and your Mom.  I read that on another thread from you too!

I had 2 Daytonas. The one below and another full blown race car with a 440 that looked like it.  I liked the body.

VERY good question. Unfortunately, the website does not provide pics of the winners, just names in each catagory. To be honest, I can think of 4 cars that were better than mine. 2 Panther-pink cars, one was a T/A clone that appeared mint. A silver vert with an orange side stripe, along with a burnt orange top and a burnt orange interior... if that isn't enough, they dropped a Hemi into it. There was also a nice metallic green Chally. It was kinda green/teal color. Real unique. Sooo... I'm sitting here wondering how I got second.  :clueless:  :1zhelp:

I dunno - what were the winners for the "well-detailed rust-bucket E-body" category?  I guess I could be in there...
