Ok so I decided to go with the EZ-Wiring 21 Circuit Harness and Goody and I started last weekend (just Sunday). We spent the good half of the morning pull out the old harness and clearing out old mouse nests, etc. We got the front harness through the firewall and used a block-off plate that Painless Wiring sent me. It seemed like the hardest part (so far) has been getting the old harness out of the way and deciding where to mount the fuse box. Because I went with the larger box, it wouldn't mount in the same place, so we had to find a new home for it. Goody and I fabricated some brackets and stuck the fusebox in the ashtray. I then fabricated the ashtray bracket to allow the fuses to be visible and accessible (see pics) and now I just have to modify the ashtray door and it'll be good to go.
We're back at it again this Sunday and hope to have equal progress as last weekend. I'll update with more pics next week.
