Ok, Rule #1......NEVER touch a soldering iron when it's HOT!!!  As you can see from the pics below, 2nd degree burns are the result.  Other than that, we made good progress....the tail section is 99% complete and the front harness is about 75%.  I've ordered my gauges and hopefully they'll be in later this week so I can start that process as well.  All in all, things are going ok, just a lot of tedious things that make the whole process long and drawn out.

That's how the last two Painless kits I did went. You have to connect the appropriate wires to all the stock switches. I'm not sure about their new Mopar specific kit though.

EZ appears to be the same as far that goes from what I've seen with my EZ-21 kit. You should be ok as long as you have good wiring diagrams to go with the EZ kit directions. Here's a good link if you need any Mopar wiring diagrams (You may have to be a registered user on the site to view them though): http://www.moparnuts.com/forums/view.php?pg=wiringdiagrams It covers all 1967-1973 Mopars.

How the heck did your starter relay & ignition box get under the battery?  Doesn't seem like the most convenient or hospitible place for them.

Maybe you should have gotten one of those "Cold Heat" Soldering Irons..LOL

BTW looks good, I used to have my MSD under the Battery Tray before, cleans up the bay while doing so.

Although the Starter relay isn't weather tight.

It is very dangerous to have those in those locations.  They can easily get way too much moisture up there and have a high likelyness to fail/short out.  Ever wonder electrical items are in back/upper sides of the engine bay?... To stay away from water.  I would move them out of the way as soon as possible.

Then again, if Goody is helping you, I expect nothing less.

Neither one of us quite say, its raining, ill go for a cruise. Given that, and the fact my stuff has been moved for about a year and a half on my car, even with a kill switch IN my inner fender with no problems. Yes, I've been in more than enough rain too. He won't have an issue. Also maybe part of the reason they put things where they did is maybe partially for mass production reasons? These engine bays were not designed to 'look clean and pretty' with their locations of electrical components. To compare his electrical system from how it was, wire nuts, open twisted splices, cut insulation, etc. The locations of those components is nothing near 'very dangerous'. Last time I checked when it rained, I didn't have any water except a minimal amount that made it through the fan. And this IS florida, it RAINS. Unless RDF decides he will cross a small flowing river, he will be more than fine.

Given the nature of that last little comment, 'Then again, if Goody is helping you, I expect nothing less.' Nor do I expect nothing less from you to take a fine situation of him in need of rewiring his car and me helping him. You are in no place to say my help is inadequate or 'very dangerous'. Same old stuff from you, either here or moparts.
