Rob, thank you so much for taking the time to tape the event and then post it here. You can't imagine how much I appreciate that! For years I was the guy behind the camera doing the videotaping when my kids were growing up, and it's not the greatest place to be because you do miss a lot of what's going on around you. Once abgain Rob, thank you for doing that! :2thumbs:

392Heminut,

There was so much talk about this car and CudaGuy and members not being able to make it that I decided that I wasn't going to miss it. Then, I wanted to tape it so that the viewers could feel the excitement of Don and our group. I know now to get more of our members next time.

My son played soccer in grade school then Hockey all through Middle School and High School, then played roller hockey for Mizzou.  I put down the video camera years ago too because I realized that I wasn't enjoying the game by trying to tape everything. Later we ended up not watching them anyway unless something spectacular happened.

This event was spectacular and ended up even bigger than we imagined. The tape only captured a part of the feeling there.  Think about that times 10.  That's what it felt like. We were all nervous and excited too. Ask the members that were there.  Something not to miss if it ever happens again.

I was honored to capture it and hope Don copies it for his family to watch in the future.

Anybody available to host these 2 files?  The guy hosting them for me moved.  As soon as the magazine articles come out, I'm sure more will want to view these files.

Rob
Rob,
Try Chris Picco at Cudaworld. He is hosting the Cudaguy website. Do you have copies burnt on CD? I'd be interested in a copy if you do.
Cant kill the mean and ugly. Only the good die young...I plan to be here a while!!

Don,

Now you can show others how you got your car. It's hard to believe when you tell someone that you were given a car.  Now they can watch it.

Thanks again Alex.

Hi Don,

at first you must come home safe - what I have done is not a big thing.
When you back at home - drink a cold beer for me  ;D !

Here it gives a proverb :
"You see someone always a second time in life" - so I hope that we can see us at least one time face-to-face !
Maybe when we spend our holidays in the United Staates or when my dream come true ...

Untill then, there is no need that you must do something especially for me !
Cheers

I edited the 1st post to include the complete video that I uploaded to Google video.  Here is the link.  It's 47 Minutes long, and can be copied by the members that want a copy.

the COMPLETE VIDEO is the link below.

I'm also sending up a Video of most of the pics that Tony took for this site.  Look for that also.

Hi Don,
My son and I checked out the "assault vehicle" at Carlisle and talked to some of the guys there. This was before I joined this club.
What a bummer.  :(  If I would have joined earlier, I would have had a chance to meet you. When you get back, I won't miss the next opportunity. :2thumbs:
Take care and God bless all of you over there,
