The CudaGuy Presentation at Carlisle on 7-6-07
« on: July 10, 2007 - 10:51:09 AM »
the COMPLETE UN-EDITED VIDEO is the 1st link below.

I'm also sending up a Video of most of the pics that Tony took for this site.
Click the link below to see PICTURES of the car's restoration

Don,
I watched the video before I worked on it to send it up.  I'm glad that I got right in there so our members can feel that same feeling that we all felt when it was presented to you. I drove 14 hours to get there so I would not miss this single event. My wife didn't understand.

We couldn't have picked a nicer guy to give a car to.  I'm glad that I was able to help work on it on Saturday. Please treat it like you had to put all of the hours in it yourself. There were quite a few. Tony and his crew, and many members here,  did it all for you. Please don't "Drive it like it's stolen"

Nice meeting you Brother!

Rob,  a.k.a "ShelbyDogg"

I finally finished watching the video.   :clapping:  It turned out great.  In some ways it was better than live, because I got to see & hear some things that I missed when I was on stage.
I have a short vid of Don starting the car that I posted on youtube.  Heres the link

Rob There was a point when Don and I shook hands and then hugged and had a brief conversation. Did you get this on tape?

Tony,
You saw just about all that I took.  During the video, you hear me take a phone call. I was called to move my car over one spot, so that was on my mind.  After I stopped taping, I later found out that the interviews continued another hour and a half?    What did I miss?

Rob,
I have to say you did a great job with the video. If I would of known you were going out to Carlisle I might of tried to hitch a ride along with you as I have been off for model year change over at work for the last week and a half. The guys I was going to go out with backed out and I ended up staying home waiting for pictures on cc.com of the event. Glad you recorded this event for us all to watch. :2thumbs:

Thanks Rev.

Sorry that I didn't get to meet you.

I told members that I'll never be back because of the distance but when I checked into my motel (Motel 6 next to Fairfield Inn), I noticed that it's the same motel that I was in a year ago for the Power Tour, so I can't say that I'll never be out there again.

Jeff, Maybe next year?   Who knows.  The CudaGuy thing was big this year. Lots of Members decided to come that otherwise would have stayed home. Chryco and April may not have come.  That is the reason I drove it.

I was glad to do it.  I'm just unhappy that I didn't get all of the members on tape.

Anyone else get any pictures or video?
