Some wheeling pics from my Jeep club
« on: July 10, 2007 - 01:25:45 PM »
Sometimes I tell people I'm into four wheeling, Jeepin, off road travel, etc.. and they just picture me blowing through puddles or something, well here are some pics from the last adventure.  Not to far from Carlisle either, approx, 1.25 hours east.

Some specs of my Jeep are locked front and rear axle (detroit locker) 4.88 gears, 35" tires, 4:1 transfer case.

Some people just don't get it, but it is fun and a challenge. Try to keep your Jeep right side up and in one piece.  No major damage, jsut some blown axle shafts, a lost filler plug and some sheared bolts.

Looks really fun!  Here are a couple pictures of a Jeep TJ at Carlisle you might like.

Yeah that TJ aka the Gladiator was rumored to go into production but it is not.  However, you can by a conversion for your TJ to transform it into exactly what was at Carlisle, cost a bit over $8k for all the parts, you do the labor or pay additional $$$ for someone to do it.  I would do it if it was $4k, looks like a fun project.
