The "NEW" AC/DC - Airbourne
« on: July 10, 2007 - 07:07:16 PM »

Airbourne

These guys rock!! The band is called Airbourne. They're relativity new and just now making a huge name for themselves as the "new" AC/DC. If you like REAL Rock (non of this Linken Park go hang yourself stuff) you'll LOVE these guys. Tight jeans, sneakers and a bad ass attitude for cars, women and single bass beat rock 'n roll. They idolize AC/DC and it shows. No Angus in a school uniform but their style is so similar to AC/DC, it's scary! To make things even weirder, they're Australian (like AC/DC) and the drummer and lead guitarists/vocals are brothers like AC/DCs Malcolm & Angus Young. Check them out, CD is out now and I'm in paradise today. :grinyes: :smokin:

These guys will keep the AC/DC style music and true rock going, they're going to be huge.

Some nice refreshing old school ROCK, I love AC/DC but i don't hold out to much hope for much new material from them after all they are getting up in years and already have more money than they could ever spend. I do know that Brian Johnson is doing a small club tour here in the US and said he is waiting on Malcom and Angus to work on a new Album

Yup, but there have been rumors AC/DC have been making a new album for around 2 years now. From what I've heard, it's going to be harder than their last (Stiff Upper Lip) album and is scheduled (harder = good) for release around Jan/Feb 08. Brian (lead singer) said he's doing the lyrics and Angus is working on harder riffs. Both Malcolm and Angus said this next album has to be perfect.

I can't believe it though, AC/DC has been around for the best part of 35 years and they've made some 18 albums, sold over 150 million CDs and they still sound as good as they did when they started, not selling out their fans to suit the new Zondra of mainstream music. All their albums sound the same - good. :smokin: All I can say is fingers crossed this new album comes out soon and to be accompanied by a world tour, perhaps the big ban finale.
