That car is bad to the bone man.....I LOVE it....do you have any interior shots or close-ups of the trim?  What color black is that (I know that sounds weird, but there's tons of shades of black)?  Is your hockey stripe painted on?  If so, what color is that?  It looks almost blood-redish....

AWESOME car.....

What do you mean about using an actuator and original locks? The electric life kit is basically a solenoid with a cable that pulls the door open, then the spring-loaded nylon popper pushes the door open enough for you to grab the edge, correct? What would you have done differently given the proper parts?

Mine could be starting any time. As soon as everything is negotiated and I take a look at the shop and the shell more closely, the build would begin.

I think that was kind of a mix of my danish and english. You just described what i meant ;-) The thing is i am using the whole BearClaw latch lock electrik-life sells.

Oh, so how are you getting it done? Are you getting everything done by a shop, or just the bodywork?

Hi.. thanks alot  :) I am not all finished with the interior, and i am still waiting for my speed and tacho gauges. I've got alot of other stuff i'm waiting on, and some more i haven't done yet, so i really haven't got anything that gives the whole picture.

I've included a couple of my seats below though.

The color is the all black color that there is only one single of (no metallic, no shade or anything, just black), the Hockey stripe is painted on with a 2006 Chrysler color called Deep Red Metallic (attached some pictures). The thing i like about the stripe is that from some angles it just blends into the black and get's invisible. That was not a planned effect, but certainly a plus i think :)

Just for a little correction from earlier the engine is a 572 KB Hemi by TimBanning, with BigStuff 3 EFI.

It would probably be a similar kit, except the car has all of the handles and original mechanisms so it should be a bit more straightforward. The shop would be doing everything. I don't really have the time to do it myself or to drag a shell around between various shops to let them do their thing one by one.

The motor is going to be a 440-6 and the interior is going to be stock to begin with. I'll see where I want to go from there.

The most important thing right now is to get the body work and paint where I want it. I can always upgrade the motor or suspension later if I find it necessary.

Who makes those seats?  How much were they?  Was the 'Cuda embroidering (sp?) included or extra?  They look really good in that car.....

Hi, sorry for the long response time ;)

I got a hold of original lock mechanisms for both doors, because i wasn't satisfied, and after a couple of nights i got i really well working system put together, so the doors are opening like a charm every single time.. So it's great you've got all the things for going that way.

So is there anywhere that you are updating your project, or are you too lazy like me to get that done ?

The seats are Recare Sport Topline, they've got all electronic controls, and an adjustable airbag for the bag. Heat and "nut" cooler as well

They were 3278$ at www.speedwaremotorsports.com ordered in the cheapest fabric.

I had them re-upholstered in leather and suede (alcantara) after a drawing i painted of how it should be done. The " Cuda' " embroidering was done by a friend of mine on some pieces of leather i got from the upholsterer, before he made the seats. If anyone here wants the " Cuda' " logo as a vector file (for cutting / embroidering) let me know.

Thanks alot by the way, i'm also very happy about the result. Though the brackets speedware motorsports supplied for a cuda doesn't work out all right, so i need to make some myself. (do not buy them ;) )

I JUST signed on this weekend, so progress should be shown shortly. As far as I know, the first task will be fixing remaining metal issues and shaving the lights and adding the gills, etc.

As soon as I get my first dump of images I will make a progress thread. :woohoo:

I love the interior but I'm not sure I like the rims or how low the car is...

Would be really cool if the hood was the same color as the hockey stripe.... Photoshop it?

BAH.... Just looked at the pics again and I guess we dont have any from above showing off the hood..  :walkaway:

What are you trying to say??  I don't think you will find that any of this car was photoshoped.  OR do you want to photoshop the hood in the same color as the stripe??
