:2thumbs: The "butterscotch" Cuda should (will) be one of the cars, to not vote for it would be un-American.  :roflsmiley: But I'd say give the car July, the "anniverasary" of the presentation..............."And now c-c.c members, one year ago this month....................". And of course it could be on the cover of the calendar, however that has been reserved for the car that indeed received the overall most votes.

I think the butterscotch Cuda will be the top vote getter this year. It would be like voting against your own car not to vote for it. :clapping: :picture:

Is this a calendar of members cars or just of mopars in general?  What exactly is the contest?  If we need photoshop help or whatnot, I'll lend my services.

Jeff

We send in a single picture of our own car.  Then all of the members vote on which 12 cars they want to be in the calender.  Then the top twelve cars are placed in the calender, with the #1 voted car on the cover.

There were a bunch of good pictures last year, so I bet this year will be even harder.

You didn't miss anything Barry.  I'll put out all the details pretty soon.  We have done it pretty late for the last two years and this year, I'd like to give us a bit more time for ordering.  I'm hoping to receive pics in August and do the vote early September.  So.... everyone start taking pics!!

Photoshoped pics will be removed right?

Just want to make sure no one does some magic "touch-up" work to their car.

Hmmmm...  we've never specified anything about photshop before.  It has never been an issue in the past.  What do you all think?

truely I don't think anyone would do it.....but if we were to look for it, we'd need someone with a keen eye for stuff like that.  I guess my thoughts are make it a rule, but don't make it an issue.  Unless someone photoshops 20" rims on their car and everyone can see it's a PS job, I wouldn't be too worried about it.  After all, if someone wants to "cheat" just to get their car on the calendar, they've got bigger issues.

As long as it's their car, I think they can make it look as good as they want.  We should talk about what the requirements are for the pics regarding size and quality.  Gonna be fun again this year!

And, if a person's good with photoshop, it would be hard to tell.

My only beef with that is it becomes an art contest vs a true members car contest.  Just my :2cents:, not trying to start anything here.....

:iagree:  This is a pretty valid point!  All of the entrants or prospective entrants should read NZ's or someone elses topic on taking photographs of their car and let it roll from there.

Once you introduce Photoshop, as RDF mentioned, it becomes an art show.  Creativity is nice and appreciated if you have the talent but it's good to have a level playing field as some may not be as versed with Photoshop.  (I don't even have it!  :( )

Besides, I might have to Photoshop off the rust and paint scratches and slap on a '70 grill on my car!!!   :misbehaving:  :smilielol:  :roflsmiley:
