I was reading the 2008 calendar contest thread and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a "How to photograph cars" guide.

Here's a little article I did on photography for cars on my forum. I'm by no means a pro but I seem to have a "natural" knack/eye for taking good photos which is cool and it's a hobby of mine now.

I have some information for you too look over. You will want to read these two threads in their entirety. I have done what these guys have said, and I've come out with some amazing shots.

Very good information there, I'll try and dig up some of my better pictures later.

I should have been clearer. I'm a professional photographer and writer, and I was going to volunteer to write something up. Looks like the info that's out there is pretty good though. NZ, you listed some pretty good advice.

I have been trying out different locations for calander shots on my car--even though my car is a long ways off from being pretty--I would be interested in seeing all the tips that work. A little practice can't hurt.
