Rob,

Please know any thread can and will be turned against me. Stick around.  Sorry for the hi-jack. If Cuda-guy can make it, then so might I if I can get my tranny rebuilt.   :working:

:2thumbs: If you go to Nats. Mike that means you will be about 5 mile from the "Mopar Barn" as you pass on I 70 west (exit 208), an ifin ya don't stop by I'll have a couple of my "local yokels" pay ya a visit. Yep, must be in my roots, I am an ole appalachian boy transported a bit north.  :roflsmiley:  Better get that 727 taken care of buddy.

Jim,

I think bloke must be a Southern word. Are you showing your roots?   :poopoke: As far as I know, it means the same as yokel, pardner, or cronie. Gosh, I guess that doesn't help any, does it.

  Mike

"Bloke" is a slang term for "man." It is used primarily in the British Isles, Australia and New Zealand.    :2thumbs:

I couldn't make Carlisle but will be at the Nationals for sure. I hope to meet Cuda Guy if he makes it and meet some of the rest of you. I'm staying at heath this year which should be a change from staying on Brice Road for so many years. Last year at the track we met on the judge side by 4Cruizn's car so we will have to have a meeting point at both the track and at heath for those who want to get together and visit.
Rob what day are you driving out from Saint louis, Mo.? I'm still planing on leaving thursday morning from IL. for Ohio even though some of the people I know are going out Wed. I hope parking on the fun field side is better this year but I really doubt it as it never seems to change year to year.

Jeff,
We leave from a QT in Arnold, MO. at 5:30 AM THursday.   We go down 55 to the JB bridge then up 55 to 70 West, to Columbus.
If anyone wants to join us on the way, pm me your cell phone # and wait at a rest area on 70 west
Have a Family radio tuned to 11-20 and we'll be in touch.

RedLine the detailing in that car is beautiful.  Do you have some links from this forum or somewhere where I can see the whole car and engine bay?
