Stinger,
WOW! you are doing a FANTASTIC job!!   :clapping: and you did a great job on the color too! it seems to be a perfect match to the original color! I went to a car show a while back and a guy had his charger re-painted plum crazy! and I'll say it was crazy!! it was more like plum lavender! it was really light and OMG was it UGLY! but who am I to say that! he liked it so I guess that is all that counts! but that color you are painting your cuda is georgeous!!  :2thumbs: and again you are doing a great job on the resto job!!

Thanks,I used Dupont alt # 1.I was lucky enough to find some original paint under some parts that never seen daylight and this alternate matched very good.I was waiting on some more parts and the heat/humidity has slowed me down but I'm makeing some progress, more pics to come soon.

got some wheels under her after the upa's came in.I took the doors to work and striped them down and decided to patch the bottoms due to some pin holes and some old patch work.any one know where to get good bottom patch panels for the doors?I can get the sherman ones for 42.00 a piece but I don't know what they look like.I forgot to take the camera to work so I'll post some pics of the doors later.

The color really does look great and I never thought about adding in some clear to the paint to make it have more shine. Keep us posted on your progress with lots of pictures.
