You gotta ask yourself what your future holds for your mopar love.
I mean I know you know what's involved in this, but I do too - the longer you sit and debate or the longer you do a "little here little there" the other stuff is just going to keep catching up. I know the idea of a full tear-down and repair is mind-boggling and probably high on the "lotta work for NOOOOT that much fun" list, you have to decide whether you're going to fix it, or hand it over to someone else who can/wants to fix it before it's totally beyond repair. Once those lip edges get bad, they're impossible to repair. Then you're looking at aftermarket panels that don't quite have the right contour, etc...
It's really all our opinions - obviously it's up to you in the end. I'm envious of you - you have the welders and such that you need to do the job right. I'd kill for a good MIG welder...
