Sweet boat!!  I use to have a boat like that . . it was a python 18' with a 460 ferd/berkley jet drive with the chrome exhaust and all!  Lots of fun!!  Would of loved to have had a MOPAR in it!   :worshippy

As I was reading down through your introduction I was kinda feeling bad for you, Then I seen that boat - WOW. That looks like a whole lot of fun. What body of water are you on or better yet - What body of water is waking behind you ??? That must put out one helluva rooster tail.

Yeah, it's pretty loud, the cops don't like it too much so I had to put some slip in mufflers, I think they take it down a whole 10 decibles. It's not a drag boat or anything but mid 70's on the water is pretty fast for me. The pics are on lake Oroville in Ca. I am from Idaho but my parents have a houseboat on lake Oroville. I was at the lake for a week straight trying to work the bugs out on her maiden voyage. At first the valve covers were giving me a hard time, finally got them to leak a little less then the rear main started leaking. The boat sat in a shop for about 15 years before I got it. I went through everything except the engine. I figured I would run the engine as is until something went wrong. I figured there would be some issues with the engine, I just need to go through it so I know what I have and make it a reliable boat.
