Flowmaster/Magnaflow burnout video

Hey all

When i was trying to decide the Flowmaster/Magnaflow dilema, i could find lots of opinions either way but was looking for a vid with both on the same car but of course i couldnt find that.

So  i swapped out the Flowmasters for Magnaflows then proceeded to destroy a set of tires and videotaped the process.

hopefully this helps....you can compare before and after sound

(although the magnaflows sound better  in real life then on the vid for some reason ........they are the ones on the car during the burnout)

What's the point of having a 472 if your gonna drive like an old lady.

I like the sound of the flowmasters...the magnaflow makes your car sound like a streetbike...

The Flowmasters sound like rolling thunder at idle! 

I guess you need to hear them in person to jusdge best but the Magnaflows sound almost too quiet on the video IMO.  Still very nice though.

That is a VERY good point.  Most people dont build a 472 hemi to drive it everyday.

the 472 is great  but as far as mpg i havent a clue .

it has good driveability but it takes a lot of tuning to get it there.

the flowmasters sound great in the video but a little more tinny sounding in real life and the magnaflow sound a lot fuller than they do in the vid(not to mention the open exhaust is a lot louder!)

best my video camera can do but you can judge the difference atleast.

im quite happy with the magnaflows they have a full deep sound, flowmaster sound great too......more old school.
my biggest complaint with them was the drone on longer runs
