That's pretty crappy.  Sorry to hear about the damage.  :(

Atleast now the car's had it's first accident and now you don't have to be so paranoid about driving the car and getting it scratched and what not.  Sorry, just trying to see a bright side to the situation.  Atleast that's how I felt when my new car got into it's first accident.

Sorry to hear that Kevin, and since you did't mention any injuries that definately is a big positive, especially with the little boy. Was he in the car too? Too bad buddy for the new car, seems to always happen that way, drive the beater and nothing, get a new car it seems to be an accident magnet.

A couple of years ago a pair of deer decided to take a stoll in front of my car when I was only going about 30MPH down a back road. The first one I saw and missed, but I had NO chance to get out of the way of the second one.  :stomp: Grill smashed to bits, hood bent under. It was around $900 damage using used parts(for the grill). So $1000 in damage isn't bad now a days. I have a 05 Mustang now, so I know where you are coming from.
