Home from Vacation!!

Hi CC.Com,

   Well we are finally home from the vacation. After a total of 4,524 miles we survived. It was great to meet all the members at Carlisle. I just hope you all had as great a time as we had!! I only wish we lived closer so we could come every year. As of now we plan on comming back in 2010 for the Trans Am reunion again.  I'm really sorry we had to miss the get togather at Growlers. We had to be up very early to make it back to Gettysgurg. Well we hit a lot of the battle fields on this trip. We went to Antietam, Appomatox, Chanslersville, Fredricksburg, Gettysburg, The Gettysgurg Reinactment, Harpers Ferry, Jacksons Shrine, Manassas, Spotsvainia and the Bloody Angle. There were others also but you get the just of it. We also went to Indy on the way out. We went to Washingto Dc and Arligton Cem. and Hershy Pa. as well as the Amish country. On the way home we stopped at St. Louis at the arch. Wow was that high and the trip to the top took 4 min in a very small tub. I'll post some pictures when I get them resized. Right now we are just relaxing and getting cought up on some rest. Again I cannot stress enough how great it was to meet so many great members of the site, WOW WHAT A BLAST IT WAS!!

  hello ken.glad your trip went well and it sounds like you had a great time at carlisle.sounds like your into the old war era,that would be very imteresting indeed.4,256 or so miles,i would be sleeping for a week.yup like the others have said you and the wifey get some rest and take it easy for the next couple days,well maybe one day cause car craft is this weekend in st paul at the fairgrounds.are you going to make it over here this year?anyway it's good to have you back ken.

  Kenny and Nancy, good to hear you made it back home safely. And it's obvious you had a great time beyond Carlisle. Our treat to meet you. You and Nancy were the second couple we ran into this year, Jim and Nancy (and friend) were replacing Jim's rear bumper when you guys walked up on Thursday night at the showgrounds. And there was another Nancy, Dave's wife (purple1), she was a real nice gal too. It was easy to remember each of the wifes name, just had to keep ya all in the right pairings.  Looking forward to all those Pics Kenny.

Ken, glad you made it back safe.  I'm assuming that since you went to St. Louis, you werent going by me, so you didnt wave.
