Trunk weatherstripping

I am trying to put on my trunk weatherstripping and don't know which way it goes. Could someone post a pic of theirs. Thanks

I'm sorry I don't have pics, but it's easy to do. It lays up against the inner lip, is the best I can describe. The thicker side goes towards the trunk, the thinner towards the outside. I glued mine down, and had to cut a couple of extra inches off of it. I made my seem at the bottom(near the trunk lock), so there was no chance of water getting in.

Hard to tell much but that lip that is pointing up is definitely not on my OE seal....who made that piece?

I had this problem a while back.  I've ordered three OE trunk seals for my car before I got something that looked like what came off the car.

There are two grades of trunk seals available. The more expensive looks more like the original and fits better and elimates the need to slam the trunk lid.

Where did you buy it from?

Don't remember all of it, but I know that one of the incorrect seals was Year One.  I later figured out that it was correct for an earlier year.  I think the other may have been The Paddock, and if I recall correctly the right one came from some place that specialized in soft parts.  It's still in the bag, so I'll check when I get home.

Also, re: Tony's comment, when I say they were incorrect, I mean an incorrect cross-section, i.e., completely the wrong shape.
