Mopar Mile High Nationals
« on: July 19, 2007 - 08:28:53 PM »
More smoke, top fuel dragsters and funny cars than I've seen in a very long time.
Sat so close it just about burned the hair out of my nose.
Here's one they had on display. Many of you have seen this in person but until I saw this in person I didn't know it was actually that sweet.

Why does the paint shine in some places and look flat in others?.

I see it now, thanks...

They kinda got it backwards. Shouldn't the hood and stripe be flat and the body glossey?

Most of us were hoping they would build the Challenger and when they did........:crying: :crying: :crying: Whaaa, whaaa, whaaa
Just kidding guys, I do agree but it does look pretty good the way it's set up, the sides are done similar to the wide stripe like they put on the Cuda's. I agree the flat black hood would be cool but let me put it this way, if there was a display full of naked women next to this, I don't think most people walking past this display would even notice the women.
Personally, after     all over the Challenger, I'd be too far gone for the women display to take effect.  :grinyes:  :nono:

I liked the red, white and blue paint scheme better.  The black makes it hard to see the lines of the car, dulls it down some being flat and all.  Do you suspose Mopar will offer that hood aftermarket?
