Is the lunati  lobe built for the .904 lifter ? Voodoo looked good .220-.226 @ .50,.475-.495lift   lsa 112    for stock exhaust     60402lk    Would that out perform the C.C. XE 274 ?         :stirpot:

SOmehting to consider..anything designed for the .904 lifter specifically, runs a greater risk of wiping out..lol. Your best bet, is the manufacturer really doesnt matter, so long as you make sure the lifters rotate properly, the preload is right (hydraulic cams), the oil gets there quick ( pre-oil properly and make sure it starts right off, no turning over and over with the starter to fill the carb, or get oil pressure), the oil is the kind taht wont kill it quick,. and that the right additive(s) are used. If all that is right, you wont lose a cam. If anything is wrong, you will. I havent used Lunati ever, but I use a ton of Comp stuff, and CP got me onto Engle. I dont think you can go wrong with any choice that matches your combo and is stalled/degreed/broekn in properly.

I 've always used Comp. or M.P. stuff  too.Maybe I will try Engle or lunati.Engle send me their new flier new grinds and  you can design your own cam .No pricing tho.Is the Lunati based on the.904 lifter .Don't see that mentioned anywhere.

My builder uses custom cams from UltraDyne. they grind what ever you want and they aren't that much more expensive, he's yet to lose one even on a race motor.

Lunati takes advantage of the 906 lifter , Ultradynes are available & are a great cam , you get them through Lunati now too though
