Wife got her first HEMI!
« on: July 23, 2007 - 03:53:12 PM »
I know real Chargers don't have four doors but....the wife needs the extra set of doors for the kid.  I could have bought an SUV to eat some gas, a minivan to look twenty years older, or a plum crazy, hemi powered sedan.  It seemed like a no brainer to me.

I don't know the qtr times they claim, but the Daytona's come with 350 horse factory.  That's just enough power to turn the big twenty inch wheels over and plenty of power for the Mrs to haul our little girl around.  It is pretty strong from about a 20 mile an hour rolling start and 120 MPH feels like your cruising.  I'm really pleased with it.

Very nice!  I just drove a plumcrazy charger RT today myself. It ran pretty good, and i love the color. Tried to convince the wife she needed to trade in the caravan    :naughty:, but she was having none of that.    :walkaway:

Good luck with the new car.

I hope your wife reads this......You GO GIRL!!!  We women really do love our muscle. In our men and in our cars.

A modern mom should not drive a minivan.  The kids will soon be asking to take the "racecar" instead of whatever other cars you may have.  They learn quickly.

Enjoy the ride and the ability to jump into highway traffic from a side street & reach cruising speed in about a second.  I really like the color too.

The wife is loving the new wheels.  She has people stop her every day and want to talk to her about her Hemi.  I'm glad she went with the Plum Crazy.  Some people aren't sure about the color, but others who understand Mopar are all smiles.
