75 Barracuda???
« on: July 24, 2007 - 08:22:01 PM »
Just got my new issue of Hot Rodding and they have a 3 page article on the 75 Cuda - The fish that got away.

Anyone else seen this?  I'll scan the article tomorrow and post it here.....what a weird looking car....totally different from the pervious 5 years.  They said it almost made it to production.....almost.....

It sounds like the F-body successor to the E-body that has been shown in some of the Cuda/Challenger books.  It looked sorta Covette-like, if I remember correctly.

In my " Dodge Challenger and Plymouth Barracuda " book, it shows a picture of the proposed F-body successor to the E-body, and yes, it does look  a lot like a Corvette - real swoopy body lines. Love to scan the pictue, but my scanner isn't up to it.

If I remember right this car was severely damaged either during a show or while being transported to or from a show.  I think it was destroyed.

Thank goodness.  That thing is disgusting, IMO.  I'll take an F-bod any day.   :eek4:
