Dash Lights Not Working
« on: July 24, 2007 - 09:56:55 PM »
Help! I was working under the dash yesterday and the dash lights were working previously, but now nothing.
Any suggestions on what could have gone wrong.    :stomp:
There is no power to the fuse, all the other fuses have power to them.
I'm at my wits end, any suggestions.

Without delving into wiring diagrams etc. one side of the fuse block is switched power and the other has constant power. The instrument lamps get power from the constant side via the headlight switch. The headlight switch has to be on & the panel dimmer turned up at least a little to send power to the lamps. Also the lamp panel must be grounded, so if you have removed the mounting screws it is no longer grounded.
