Mopar Brethren,
Saturday night, I'm out in my 72 Demon, when I spy, nestled in amongst the rustangs and chebbies, a butterscotch/bahama yellow 'cuda, which I have not seen around town before. I pull in and start talking Mopar with the guy. Shortly into the conversation, he tells me that he was GIVEN the car by some folks on a messageboard! It all clicked then....I read moparts.com daily (sometimes even hourly!), but not over here often. I had seen the threads and links to "the cuda guy" project a day or so after the reveal, as someone had posted a link on moparts.
Anyway, I just wanted to stop in an let you all know what a fantastic gift and show of appreciation you made to Don. I've gone back and read most of the threads about the build, and it's wonderful how you all came together. Here in Clarksville, TN (home of Ft. Campbell and the 101st) we are blessed to have thousands of great Americans like Don that serve our country in the Army. But of those thousands, there are none more deserving than this man. I'm proud to have met him, proud of him for serving, and proud to have him in the Mopar community here in Clarksville. I'll be introducing him around to the rest of the mopar folks here in the next few weeks.
Thanks for building him a 'Cuda. He's making you all proud carrying the Mopar and USA banner! In recognition of "the Cuda Guy" and cuda-challenger.com
