Yep, I'm OC & there is not much out here.  I've seen some guys wearing "Mopar Knights" jackets at events, but they seem somewhat arrogant & don't seem to want to share any info....

Sounds good to me. Way north, of y'all near Paso Robles though. Lots of good country roads along with the Pacific Coast Highway.

Sounds good, but I don't venture that far south anymore. The four speed and traffic don't mix.  :misbehaving:

There are plenty of cool roads here in Monterey county if you can make the trip.  I'm afraid it would have to be the coastal route in summertime though.

kylem4711 - you own an e-body, so what if you want to drive your Charger - it's still a Mopar!

Anyone else have any thoughts on that?

OK, now that summer is here, I've been getting my garage cleared out so that I can finally get my Challenger out of storage and bring it home to work on it.  Anyone have any preferences for where we might be able to meet?

How about if everyone post their geographic location, so that we might be able to pick a central point?

Me: Robert1050, I'm in Anaheim.

I am new, but have seen the need for a new club in Orange County / L.A. area for Mopar guys. Some great guys have contacted me wanting to really make this happen, also many of you in this thread have voiced a need and want. I would love to help to make this happen. I will be posting a new thread where if you would like to start something, I am motivated to really help move this along.
I have had a run-in with the Knights my self.   :banghead:
Honestly this is the first time I have ever met mopar guys that are so not interested in being helpful or friendly. I want to see a group that really tips the Knights on their ear and is a real resource to new and experienced mopar guys, big block or not.

I would like to help start a group in the Orange Country Area that is much like this site. Mopar guys that are here to help, learn, enjoy, and encourage.
If you would like to move on getting something going lets start. Post something in the other thread and lets make this real.
 :feedback:

There is the Mopar Unlimited club in Orange County. Louis: 714-921-9548

Have you been to one of their meeting or events?? They are a real nice easy going group of guys and gals.

Also, South Bay Mopars meets on the first Saturday's of the Month at 9:00 am in Torrance at the Bob's Big Boy @ 24021 Hawthorne Blvd. Torrance CA 90505.  http://www.southbaymopar.com

There is going to be a big Mopar only Cruise In at Ricky and Ronnie's on Saturday August 23rd 4:30 to 8:30pm There were about 75+ Mopars last time. Should have well over 100 this time. Free Admission, relaxed enviroment, stop in and check things out, awesome 50's Cruise-In location: www.rickyandronnies.com

For you guys more north of O.C. we have Chrysler Performance West that I am a member of. We have members from about as far out as Camarillo, Monrovia, Bellflower. Anyone that owns an older Mopar or even newer performance Mopar is welcome. We have women Mopar owners, young Mopar owners, older Mopar owners, racers, OE experts, pro street owners, original owners... you name it.

We have monthly events and meetings. We meet in North-Central San Fernado Valley. We are an active club. We are not a mail-in and get your newsletter type of club. There is an event almost every month like the ones we did in 2007 listed below. Most all of our members volunteer in some fashion at the Spring and Fall Fling if they can attend. We do ask that you attend two meetings before deciding to join to check things out.

At meetings we bench race, socialize in a private parking area, cover past and upcomming events/shows, sometimes have guest speakers or tech topics, show videos and slideshows on the projector...

 2007 CPW events
• Reagan Library Tour
• Pirate’s dinner Adventure
• Cruise In at Flames
• Judging Seminar
• SPRING FLING
• CPW 8th Annual Poker Rally

• Mopar Cruise-In @ Ricky and Ronnies
• Van Nuys Airport Tour
• Mopar Fest Mopar show

Email me at pwall5@aol.com if you have ANY questions about Chrysler Performance West Car Club or you are interested in coming to meeting and checking things out.
