Ok, so I'm not the most familiar person with the 6-pak set up. We found one that is complete except for solenoids. Are they mandatory and what are they used for? Again, thanks in advance.... Old's Cool

The solenoid is used to prevent dieseling when you turn the car off. I ran mine for a number of years without one.
