Pittsburgh training camp
« on: July 27, 2007 - 11:30:34 AM »
It's that time of year again, so the Mrs, son and I took the last 6 days and took a trip to Pittsburgh.  Took in some nice sites, did the tourist things, went to dinner one nite at the "Jerome Bettis' Grille 36  great food and even got to meet the big man himself.. Took an extensive tour of Heinz field then off to Latrobe for a day of training camp.   With the new head coach and some shuffeling of existing coaches I hope the Steelers do better this year that last season,  time will tell, but it was fun

Ahh,

There's no place like home. Thanks for the pics of my hometown Doug.  :2thumbs: I was supposed to go up to see Steeler's training camp this evening, but the big threat of rain caused me to bail out. I can watch rain from here.  :grinyes:

Well,

The first Lombardi trophy the Colts got was when they were still in Baltimore.   :poopoke: Dare to guess how long ago that was?   :stirpot:

The NFC is in shambles. The Bear's made the Super Bowl last year with NO quarterback. How sad.   :roflsmiley:

Lay it on me, but the best teams are in the AFC.  :2thumbs:

You were 5 mins from my place, should have stopped over and checked out our junk!  I finally made a game in the new stadium last year, 12 rows from the field and didn't pay a dime for the tickets   I live right down 30 from spring training and I never head over to watch.  I see some hot women in the background, maybe time to go check out the scenery :droolingbounce: :roflsmiley:
