Challenger radio installation

I am planing to install a factory radio on my 73..I look on the service manual and I serch the tech shop but I can't find any pics or drawing of how is secure under the dash, or if a face plate is needed  :clueless:..anyone has or can make a drawing of the redio placement?..Thank you

All Challenger's had the same shaped face plate. It might look a little different depending on if you have standard or rally gauges. I think what you need is the bracket that attaches to the back of the radio to hold it's weight. Sorry, I don't have a pic, but it pops up on E-Bay occasionally.

it installs from the back.
