I don't know if this was posted before or not, but there is a new steering wheel from grant just for E bodys!  Looks really nice too, almost factory.  http://www.grantproducts.com/default.html

I thought the link would go to the wheel.  Click on the CLASSIC wheels and go to the wood wheels.  It's number 246.

I like!!!!! Looks like an economical alternative to getting a rimblow. I like it much better than the standard wheel and it wont break the bank! Great find.

I'm not too crazy with the non-oe looking wood myself...this one appears to be leather.

I like them both but except for the rivets the wood one looks better to me, much more like a rimblow. Either one would definitely be better imo than the oem black/woograin wheels.

I just ordered one, even though I agree they could have done without the rivits. I had bought a Grant wood one for my 240Z and the rivits on it were painted, which I liked even less. Good thing about Summit racing is I can buy 3 or 4 to look at in the car and just send back the ones I don't want. Steering wheels and seats are both parts that really can't be bought by sight from a catalog, you have to see and feel them in person.

I just put that woodgrain wheel in my car. I'm not crazy about the rivets either, but the wheel looks good. It definitely has a Mopar look to it.

I likey Mikey. It would be a better match if it was a darker walnut like the rest of the interior accent. Maybe it could be sanded down and stained darker? I think that would really make it blend better with the other interior trim. Or maybe I've been watching too much "Design on a Dime" this weekend  :eek4:

That wheel look nice MEK,

I wonder if a rimblow center cap would fit or be made to fit the horn switch?

Don't the factory tuff wheels take a specail adapter?  The grant wheel would only take a grant adapter, easier to find if nothing else.  I'm on the "just dreaming" boat right now too.

The A & B bodys need an adapter.  The tuff wheel will bolt right onto an Ebody crush colar.

Maybe if your car came with a tuff wheel to start with?  :dunno: I had to buy their adapter kit, since my car had the woodgrain wheel. The center cap is different from a tuff wheel(as far as the prongs go). So, I needed the $29.95 adapter kit, of which most parts were useless to me.  :dupe: Thank goodness for Home Depot, and some creative thinking, I got it all to work.   ::)
