70 or 71 door, 73 glass need help!!!!!!!!

K, glass guy took a look & we got the glass dressed in hardware to go in, but could not figure out how to mount the up-stops in the door. On the 73 door there's a reinforcement bracket along the top were those up stops go.
I'm gonna asume the early door has some different hardware, I bought a couple a sets off stripped doors , seem to have all the parts but not sure since the door only had some when I bought it & how some of the pieces go in, I have the 73 manuel, no help there.
Any hints out there, thanks in advance,Rich.

Ok, I have two slotted pieces that use allen head screws to bolt in & have a rubber pad on the ends, I'll post some pics in the next day or two, they looked like outer guides to me, but just maybe they are the up stops, I hope so, the pic will help, will just need someone to look in their door for the pieces I have to confirm, will post the pics asap, Thanks,Rich.

Here are the pieces I have, got the 2 with rubber off ebay but they match the one that was left in the used door, the one to the right is off my 73 door
should they mount rubber up or rubber down? Rich.

also have this piece out of the used(71) door I think it was mounted around the middle near top of door with 2 philips head screws , looks like the wiskers were ripped off, would this be the outside glass guide? Rich.
