« on: July 29, 2007 - 03:01:09 PM »
Can somebody give me a good source for these small plastic connectors on the door handles and a source for the cloth cover on the rods?

Richard, those particular pieces of cloth are to allow the lock rod and inner door latch rod to slide behind the adjuster plate. The cloth is squished in between the door metal and a bracket behind the door panel. If you dont have it, it can hang up on you. That one you posted doesnt look too bad.

Its not in that bad of shape. I just wondered if the made new. It smells a little funky from the years . Maybe I should just have it dry cleaned. :roflsmiley:
