This is my temporary solution for the KD.  I have a 727 coming along with a lokar KD cable.  This actually works pretty slick.  Part throttle KD is excellent and auto upshifts at good road speed.  I put the stock 2bbl KD rod in my vise and took a couple of the bends out a bit.  Full throttle gives me full line pressure as per the factory. It clears the Firewall no problem.  I was going to make a spacer out of some aluminum but You can't see it when the Air Cleaner is on anyways. :grinyes:

I had to drill a hole in my mancini Throttle cable bracket though.LOL  Oh well, it works good enough for now.  I used a spare KD extension piece to extend the 2bbl one and it gives me full adjustment too.

Well since my MP valve covers don't have Baffles and I was wondering where the light hint of blue was coming from...  I fabricated some Baffles out of some left over Al stock.  Bent it up and used some Red locktite and tapping srcrews to secore them.  I pulled my PCV off to check my vacuum in gear and oil cam pouring out.  I must have been sucking it up pretty good.LOL

I checked the plugs, they didn't look to bad I just cleaned them up a bit and tossed them back in.  The color was a light tan. I think thats good, no?

Also some shots of the new exhaust from under the car.  Note the HD Jackstands.LOL

Couple short video's if they work...

I didn't floor the car until this morning and didn't hit it for a hundred feet from the start.  Unfortunately I didn't tape the run..  But I got the short cruise to the highway albeit a bit bouncy and when I got off the next exit i recorded the results.LOLOL :bananasmi

Pulls smooth and tracks straight.  Decent MPH # considering the late gas.

 :working: on videos :banghead:

I need to get out there and do better than that.LOL :drunk:

It seems quiet on the video, much louder in person.LOL

I need to find someone/thing to hold the camera steady.

Should have seen the guy on 93N's face in his f250 when I passed him.LOL

I swapped the spring in the secondary to the second lightest one, I don't feel any bog.  I may have to try the lightest one, seems as though the engine can handle all this 770 can dish out.

Tom, sorry I've been MIA for a while. Sounds like it's going well? I sent you an email I didnt know if your PC was fixed. In any case, I hope to hear back from you. I've gotta get to see those vidoes. I keep forgetting when I'm home. I think you will find that this engine won't bog with that carb...lol.

Going well, as long as this 904 can handle all this abuse.LOL  Seems good so far.LOL  I had a quick run on the highway.  Babying it I got 14.22 @ 104mph.  0 to 60 was  6.8 sec lol  I didn't even floor it until I realized I was 3-4 seconds in.  I'll have to do it again concentrating on driving.

It's got a lot more in it..lol. I'd say if you cant run 12.50s with sticky tires there's a problem. Nice job. the pics look fantastic. Be very proud.

Thanks Moper,
I think to go that fast I need a few upgraded things.  But all in all it is great!  Thanks for the kudos, and I'll keep at it until it's "done".LOL  I think there are a few guys locally going up to NED soon I might go.  One guy has a trailer and offered to let me use it to get there.  I might just drive but it's 1hr+ away and if I break then I'm screwed.

Tom

All I really was looking for was to beat my buddies SRT-8 300.  If I can hook it should be close. :burnout:  He has run 12.75 with a few mods(chip, intake, cam).

You will have that covered. And I never drive to the track. I've never broken, but I never want to...lol
