    Car sounds great on the video!  :grinyes:  I thought it was going to be quieter than that after I heard the first video but it sounds nice!  :thumbsup:

    I talked to him tonight he said anytime anyplace.LOL  I can use his trailer to go up.  He also told me he has run a 12.72 early in the year...  He also has much more experience than me, i might need some practice first.

    I got the 2 new U-joints, Pinion shims, Pinion Snubber, and some clamps installed today.

    Was a bit of a battle but I think I won.LOL

    I spun it up to 85 or so and it felt good so far, I'll have to run it on the road tomorrow.

    The MP Pinion snubber as Moper informed me is too tall out of the box to fit, so I cut one hole off of it and it fit like a glove.  Turns out I didn't need the new centering pins as the stock one was plenty long after the shims went in.  I used the 4 degree ones to put the pinion 2 degrees down.  I got some universal u-bolts at the local zone and some spring clamps as well.  Hopefully this will do it for the rear end, except for some cleaning of course.  i didn't realize how much overspray got under there. :misbehaving:

    Do not worry about the overspray, that is factory over spray from original :poopoke: :2thumbs: :smilielol:

    Thanks Ken,

     I tossed in some Summit guages to actually see what my temps are and oil pressure.  Before I put them in I used to run at the second line on the temp guage and creep(traffic) up just over it but didn't know what it actually was. Also the oil light never came on.LOL  That was all i knew...

    Now I know that those readings are 170-175 water temp creeping to 185 in traffic and 30 psi oil hot in gear idleling.  Pretty good I thin all is well.  It was about 80 here today with some humidity.

    I also tossed in a 90 degree adapter I picked up for the oil filter, I need a bigger filter now.LOL  I left the factory guages operational by adding a 1/8NPT T-fitting for the oil and adding a new setup for the water.  I had to use adapters since the fittings didn't screw into the intake and it would have bottomed out even if it did screw in.

    The lights on the guages are added to the dash lamp circuit.

    The vibration seems to still be there at 45-55.  I have some(alot) play in the slip yoke, so I'm going to have to wait for the new trans and driveshaft I guess....

    That says" NO IPOD" :smilielol:  I set it up so the IPOD sits in the Ash tray in a small rag it even closes up with it in there.  A buddy of mine just loaded it for me with like 1200 songs for 0 dollars LLOLOLOL.

    Also that is the Factory OIL Light, I just had the key in the on positon for the pics.

    Yes, numbers on the guages help.  Next up is some sort of Tach.

    Thanks gentlemen,

    I think after today I can say the car is ready to drive to Carlisle, just need to convince myself I am ready.LOL

    I put about 300-350 miles on it today in some heat(90+) and the car performed without a hiccup. :cooldancing:  I left this morning at 7:30 and got back at 10:30PM.  Was a great day of cruising.  I managed to get 15.66MPG on the way home doing between 65-75MPH.  It still ran cool never getting above 175 going up Mount Holyoke.
