Since my Birthday was this weekend I got to have some time to myself. Except for bringing my Son to T-Ball class and dinner with the wife Sat night I spent some quality time in the garage.
Took a while to fit the hood. The Bumper and Valence were easy along with the lighting. The Rings for the Headlights are from PG Classics. Since I had pre-drilled for the Hood Pins no stress there. I figured out a cheap quick fix for sloppy hood hinges, take the hinge and a 3lb hammer to an anvil. Hit the Rivits a few times, they are softer than the hinge and they squish a bit to tighten it up. I know it's not perfect but, how many times am I going to open the hood? I took the springs out as well.
Oh, and I swapped on some new sneakers from Blackcuda. Put my Gunslinger's Pistol grip on. Door Panels and Door Handles. Need some different arm extensions for the Door locksets.
I wired up the power locks so I could lock it anyways.
To top it off I took her out for a rip, what a blast. Got some gas and took a 3 mile ride and got 1/2 a doz whoops and waves! Slight mishap with a loose throttle cable as a clip was missing, a tie wrap got me home. The rear tires blew loose out of the Mobil station with a Mustang GT right behind me, never pulled up though.
