Got my homemade speaker box installed as well, put the trunk liner in too.
Tom :2thumbs:
Could you elaborate more about your homemade speaker boxes, and some pictures of them too?  I am assuming that the boxes are for the rear window deck inside the trunk.  Your project is looking great!   :clapping:

hooD  I made the box out of some plywood and some carpet from Wally world.

It points up towards the rear deck, with no 6x9's in there.  Figured most of the noise would go up. :dunno:

Here are a couple pics of how it fits up in there.  I made it tight so it wouldn't move around.

Since my Birthday was this weekend I got to have some time to myself.  Except for bringing my Son to T-Ball class and dinner with the wife Sat night I spent some quality time in the garage.

Took a while to fit the hood.  The Bumper and Valence were easy along with the lighting.  The Rings for the Headlights are from PG Classics.  Since I had pre-drilled for the Hood Pins no stress there.  I figured out a cheap quick fix for sloppy hood hinges, take the hinge and a 3lb hammer to an anvil.  Hit the Rivits a few times, they are softer than the hinge and they squish a bit to tighten it up.  I know it's not perfect but, how many times am I going to open the hood?  I took the springs out as well.

Oh, and I swapped on some new sneakers from Blackcuda.  Put my Gunslinger's Pistol grip on.  Door Panels and Door Handles.  Need some different arm extensions for the Door locksets. :banghead:  I wired up the power locks so I could lock it anyways.

To top it off I took her out for a rip, what a blast.  Got some gas and took a 3 mile ride and got 1/2 a doz whoops and waves!  Slight mishap with a loose throttle cable as a clip was missing, a tie wrap got me home.  The rear tires blew loose out of the Mobil station with a Mustang GT right behind me, never pulled up though. :grinno:

Nice work, Tom!  :2thumbs:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Thanks Guys!  You guys all keep me motivated! :burnout:

I figured I'd watch the Patriots in the garage for a while tonight.  And mess around with the car.

Finished putting the Kick Panels in.  Then the Door Sills, and the Tri-star emblem on the Door Panels.  Put the Overhead Belts and Sunvisors in.  Got the rest of the marker lights working(bulbs).  Got the wiper arms and blades in and adjusted the hood to clear them, it is tight but no rubs!  That little C-clip is a PITA!

Thanks Again Guys

Tom

I still got to do the Bypass on the Instrument lights(dimmer switch) as mine don't seem to want to work. :banghead:

The woodgrain on the doors is a little light, but the contact paper was 2 dollars at the craft store so it will have to do!

contact paper, pretty clever. It looks good. I'll bet you were sitting in the car while peering through the windshield at that TV!!  :naughty:

Don't you know it!  The Hood looks awesome from inside, doesn't obstruct the view much.  Yeah the contact paper was a quick fix to a bad problem.  Plus it came with 50' so if I messed it up, I could do it again and again.....  Plus you can find a grain that is pleasing to your eye, since the pattern changes. :2cents:

Thanks

Wow Tom. You said you were making progress. I didnt realize where you were starting from...lol. It looks great. The "shop" is pretty much set, except for the additional lighting and electrical.... I got all the engine component parts where they are supposed to be (off the floor and into my new assembly area...lol) last night, and by this weekend I should have an update for you. Now I see how bad I'm holding you up :scared:...lol.

David,

LOL  If I had that Motor here, I would be getting no sleep and my wife and kids would forget what I look like....  I'm ready when you are.  Except now my Sat's are busy in the AM with T-Ball league for TJ.  But we will get the lights and plugs sorted out soon enough.  Thanks for checking in it has been a great experience with the whole Stroker thing because of your patience with me.LOL

Thanks again

Tom

BTW my 1-2 shifts are soft now, I may need a 727SB core from you and a driveshaft you got one. :dunno: :drunk:

LOL...TJs a riot. My patience with you?? I thought I was the hold up... I'll have to look for a shaft. I might have one. Or, I just had a nrand new one high speed balanced for that silver car..$185 and he turned it around in a day. I need to clear shelf space (you'll se..) so that core leaving is VERY tempting. I might even have a decent convertor for you too... :money: We'll talk offline. In  any case, you're doing a heck of a job. And glass fenders? I hated mine an ended up selling them. Yours look great.

Well, I took a 3hr total drive in my Challenger today to AutoRust in RI with a pit stop in Worcester Ma as well.  It ran pretty good, but was spitting some oil out the dipstick tube.  I think I need a breather in addition to the PCV.  Nice guys down at Autorust.  I even got 17.5 MPG on the trip!

I picked up a Sony Head Unit for the car, it has IPOD control and sounds pretty good.  The remote control is pretty handy for changing the stations while driving, the radio isn't in the best spot on these things...

Couple pics from the Cruise.
