How soon till you get it to the drag strip? :burnout:

I'm shooting to have it running by the end of April, doing weekends.  A bunch of local guys are planning a trip to the strip sometime this summer(june), but a good buddy goes frequently on wed and fri nights, so I'll probably tag along with him before that.

I only wanted to beat my buddies mustwang that runs 13.9 and his dads vette that runs 13.2.  I should be right around there if all is well, maybe faster if I get some traction and make a few trips to get used to the strip.

Tom

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Thanks Superblue,

I'll look into something sooner or later, I was leaning toward some drag radials so I could drive them up there.

Thanks

Yes I still got the 15's that came on the car.(TT's)

I got some stuff done today, Tested lighting relays(High, Low, Fog Lamps) lights are much brighter!

Messed around with the Dimmer Switch and managed to get Dash lights working along with the Console light!

I had to adjust the Steering Column to clear the Column Key Lockout.  Also hook the Wiring back up under there.

Hooked up Factory Rear Defroster switch to control Fog Lamps and Wiper Pump.  Up for FL and Down for Pump.  The switch was there but I don't have a Rear Defroster anyways.

Reinstalled the Brake Pushrod, hooked up Brake switch, Bench Bled the M/C.

Put the Brackets back on the Power Steering Pump, thankfully I took pics of the old setup.  I would have been going crazy trying to figure out how they go.LOL

Took the Wife's car out for a cruise today too before the rains came.

Looks awesome DB!  hemiken will have to lay off a bit now. :working:

Repainted the Calipers Red again after the Seal was bad on one.

Thanks DB!

Here's the Calipers.  Just stockers but used some High temp Caliper paint.

I think it was Duplicolor.  It was a brush on and said Ceramic.

Well, I mocked up the Rad and Overflow.  Had to relocate the overflow to make room for the Washer bottle.  I think I got enough room now.  Gave the rad and cooler brackets a shot of Paint.  In and out with this stuff.LOL  Gotta do it though before the engine goes in so it goes smooth.
