Anyways, plenty of tq on hand, rolling up the on-ramp 30mph to the freeway I gave it some juice and left 30' of rubber from both tires :burnout:  I backed off on it so I could get some traction.LOL

Now that must've been some fun!!!!  :burnout:

I would be lucky if I could do that from a standstill, let alone rolling at 30mph!  :faint:

I wish I had a 422 in place of my 360.

That car is looking great.  :2thumbs:

Thanks JB's

Hi Tom,

Sounds like you need more of a base plate from an A12 69 1/2 Super bee or Road runner buddy. :2thumbs:

I think that's what I got?

One thing for sure Tom.....Don't get caught out in the rain........ :2cents:

I will try to avoid it, but I'm sure it will happen with all the driving.LOL  I went out tonight with some overcast skys and put another 45-50 miles on it.

I'm pretty sure I warned you about that...

Yes you did!  I didn't believe you though......

Now that must've been some fun!!!!  :burnout:

I would be lucky if I could do that from a standstill, let alone rolling at 30mph!  :faint:

I can't imagine how long the burnout would be from a standing start, I don not think it would end until I let up. :bananasmi

Hi Tom,

The bases for an A12 are rectangular and not oval like you have.  They are a little larger on the base for the foam seal to affix too. :2thumbs: i will look for a picture for you.

The seals I see are oval but I don't know what the hood looks like as it attaches to the hood.

I got this pic from a thread on massmopars from Johnrr.

Tom

I think I could make it work.  The hood is just bigger than the Aircleaner and I think this gasket could be mounted to the base of the scoop somehow.

Hi Tom,

That seal pictured would be for an Air Grabber.  Different all together.  See in the picture attached the fit on to the hood pieces. :2thumbs:

Thanks Hemiken I think that seal will work.  I will do some measuring, maybe I'll put my video camera inside the engine compartment to show the clearances.LOL  It does have a night vision feature.... :roflsmiley:

I have power steering and a 904 but plan on putting in a 727.  I don't see how there would be and problems with the 727 there is plenty of clearance now to the 904. :dunno:  I believe there are some other members with the 727, I found old posts doing a search before I bought them.

Worked on the Norther Shroud for the Summit radiator.  Kind of a PITA but should fit/work pretty good.  I might go with the black on the radiator afterall.  Maybe not, if I can polish out some scratches from man handling this thing in and out quite a few times.lol
