He's probably still recovering from Carlisle. The sight of seeing my tail lights each day to the fairgrounds must bother him.   :poopoke:   :stirpot:

Yup, just got back from vacation.  Went Camping with the kids for a couple days. :screwy:  Before that was my 4YO's birthday and Carlisle before that.

I got a headliner to do and some small stuff(driveshaft loop), but got my 727 to swap in still too.

Tom

Been putting some mileage on it though.  Thanks for asking!

Good one, I'm actually planning my next project.  Just waiting for the right E-body to come along.

MEK was the pace car, kind of like a Rabbit in a race.  I put it in runners terms for him, cause we all know what happens to the rabbit.

Nice work Tom, and congrats on your 2nd place at Carlisle. As far as I was concerned, your car was 1st!!! I see I was diggin in the trunk in the background there. I was lookin for my bottle of Miracle Bluff. Fools even the keenest judges. But I couldn't find it. I did find two cans of blinker fluid.  :roflsmiley: :roflsmiley: :roflsmiley: I'm puttin in the 4:10 gears this weekend. A little too tall for the drive to Carlisle!! Happy B-day to your 4 Y/O!!

Thanks Matt, I think that was at the end of Saturday so the Buff would do you no good.

I need to pick up a set of 4-10's to terrorize the locals a bit more.

It was great meeting you and hope to make it out there again next year too. :2thumbs:

New A727 trans went in today, need to have a shaft made up for it though.  Also need a dipstick and inspection plate for it.  Went to a buddies house for this one , He has a lift and trans jack.  so much better than on my back.....

I'll get some picks when I get the new shaft.

All the linkages, trans lines, mount etc lined up no problem.  Also the Doug's headers along with the Mini starter was NO problem, fit in there with plenty of room.  This was a question that a few people have had.  You can get the starter out with out unbolting the headers too.

It is a 2800 stall from Moper.  Figured I'd give it a shot, the price was right.

Is it ever done?  LOLOLOL, Seriously I would like to get some decent interior panels and get the headliner in, but that will be this winter.  Unless I buy another project first.  Got the itch for a 70 or 71 Barracuda and the market is favorable for projects now.(If you are buying)

Thanks for the kudos, I did it with the help of everyone here for sure!

Pic for mikerallye, best one I got right now.  I can take a better one this weekend.  Look on the left and you can see the factory sender(temp) then Heater hose and then the empty port I used for the mech temp sender.

Well the new Trans Is in and shifts much better.  Trans was built by Randy J from Moparts, he is in CT.  Moper hooked me up and He was great to deal with as well.

Put in a new Lokar KD cable, Lokar Trans Dip stick, Driveshaft Loop, Mancini Master Cylinder Heat shield, along with the Trans/Conv/driveshaft.

Also installed a new Autometer Digital tach/Shift light as well.

Funny note, Always check the converter drain plug before you assume the front pump seal is bad.LOL  I had a leaker for a while frustrated I went home(doing work at a friends for his lift) went back today and checked what was going on, and the drain plug on the converter was loose.  That was a nice surprise for sure.  I didn't want to pull the trans back out.LOL

 :useless:

I'll see what I can do when I get it back home.
