    OK guys, I am putting this out here first because I trust your opinion.  I am considering selling my 70 Challenger, and I am looking to get $40k-$45k.  I want to know what you guys think.  This is not a need to sell situation, but if I sell it I would be able to help a situation out.  These are the specifics (alot is from what I was told about the car) and again opinions are welcome, and if anyone is seriously interested let me know and I will send them my number:

    1970 Dodge Challenger
    w/ rebuilt 1977 440 .030 over with forged "six pack" pistons
    Lanatti performance cam 234 @50 intake/242@50 exhaust lift is .513 intake .533 exhaust
    Edelbrock Aluminum Heads that were ported/polished and RPM intake also ported
    Edelbrock 800 carb
    Ceramic headers with 3 inch TTI exhaust
    Just installed Ron Davis 26inch Aluminum radiator w/ dual electric Spal fans (say goodbye to overheating)
    4 wheel manual disc brakes (front wilwood)
    Now has 3.91 gears
    suspension has addco sway bars 1 1/8 front, 7/8 rear
    mopar performance torsion bars .960
    Firm Feel Inc quick ration steering box
    New XV motorsports tilt steering column
    New rocky mountain dashes instrument gauge panel w/ new autometer phantom gauges
    New pioneer CD player
    New carpet and speakers
    The seats sit a little high up, previous owner custom made brackets to fit him.

    This car was in May 2006 Super Rod magazine shortly after I purchased it from the guy who built the car. 

    I will attached more photos of interior and engine when I get home.

    Auto or manual? Does it have a fender tag or broadcast sheet? What was the original engine?

    Nice car, i'd love to have it, too much for me though.   :walkaway:

    Yea, that would probably help.  Automatic.  727 with 3500 stall converter.

    Nice looking car, but that's a lot of money for a clone. Body and paint should be next to perfect, with nicely detailed engine and under side to justify that kind of money. :2cents: Good luck. :thumbsup:

    Thanks for the info.  The underside is completely painted/coated, and the engine compartment is very nice.  The only thing I would need to do is clean up the wiring from the radiator install this past weekend.

    THAT IS ONE NICE CAR!

    If paint,body,engine bay and interior are top notch I would think thats a good price range....

    Nice car.. but I agree with the others for a clone to bring that amount the engine, motor, paint and interior have to be almost perfect..I am looking foward to see the other pics..good luck with the sell  :2thumbs:

    Good luck with the sell, one of my favorite cars on the board :thumbsup:  Wish I had that kind of dough because I don't have the time to get mine done.  Post some more pics and let us check it out.

    Non-numbers matching hurts, and it's not exactly stock looking. I think your price range is reasonable though.  :2cents:

    sorry for not getting interior/engine pictures up yet i have had to work until late these past few days.  When I get home from work today I will try and get it out and to a good spot for updated pics.  Thanks for the feedback to this point.

    Beautiful car, but prices are starting to come down, and I think, as a clone, you'll have a hard time getting $35 out of it. Would help a lot if it were a 6-pack.

    I would think between 30k to 35K. It is a nicely modded Challenger and some people would rather have a tastefully modded car vs stock.
     My car is similar to yours except you have much nicer paint. Mine has a bit more modifications than yours and is a real RT/SE. I don't think my car is worth much more than $30K.

    Original 318 car.   Assuming its nice, detailed, finished out nice.   $30K tops.   You could find a buyer interested and motivated on the spot who would pay more.   But most people want a real RT big block car if their gonna spend over $25K.   I wish you the best of luck though.
