Bridge collapses
« on: August 01, 2007 - 09:33:40 PM »
Check it out.  My sister goes across this bridge every night at a little after 6 every night.  Tonight she decided to leave work early today and go to the Minor League baseball game.  Weird.  I told her to pray for the families, and I will too.

Thanks for the concern about my bud.he had me totally worried.said his ex called him and son called him also.he didn't work over that way yesterday. :) Feel bad for the rest of the families, they said it could take 3-5 days before they can maybe get to the rest of the cars and wreckage.  :walkaway: it's just not safe down there right now.  :(

What a tragic accident, it appears there have to be more than 6 deaths as our paper reported today. Life is so fragile, so sad and sorry for the families of those who perished. The bridge was being reparied, seems maybe they confined too much weight to two lanes of traffic. What a dissastor, no terrorists acts beleived to be involved. Just stunned and numb, pray for these dear families of the perished.

Very sorry for everyone involved..  It is a little weird that homeland security decided there was no terror involved an hour and a half after it happened  :clueless:

The last thing I saw on it there are still 30 people missing
