I'm with WhiteSatinMopar on this one.  :(  It's too bad some of this thread didn't stay buried, the comment from jterp, very very poor taste and totally out of line, I don't care what point he is trying to make or how big of a jerk the guy is that it is directed at! I am surprised the moderator allowed it to even stay on the page. The comments are degrading and humiliating for anyone who has family participating in those events. The comment at the bottom of the poster isn't much better. I really had fun reading this thread till I got to the jterp comment and picture. I am no saint by any stretch of the word but I do have a little common sense. Obviously he or anyone who goes along with this sort of thing doesn't have an ounce of understanding of these special people. Sick sense of humor.

I can't believe you found this thing Street.  Anyway, the Special Olympics picture was offensive to many back when it was posted and is still offensive to many now, so I will be deleting that portion of this thread.
