An E-BOD at Copart...
« on: August 03, 2007 - 08:45:51 AM »
I think this could be a good project for somE-BODy!   :grinyes: Its at Copart in San Bernadino. You would (of course) have to be a registered dealer to bid on it. Maybe this could be you......?  :dunno:

All right, after some research on the net, they hold there auctions every Thursday.

Bigs, when did you see it on Coparts?

Are you registered with Coparts?  Sorry for all the questions, but their online website is secure as fort knox. I can’t see anything with being registered.

Hopefully they didn't sell it yesterday.  I plan to drive by after work and see if I can spot it.

It looks like it has great potential.... :clapping:

The current pre-auction bid is $2950  The car's actual auction date is next Thurs. You will not be alowed to go and "see" unless you are a registered dealer. As usuall the car is "on approval"

Hey Mike, I think all that damage was caused by the tow truck driver.  :roflsmiley:

I contacted Coparts, you have to have a dealers license to register and bid.  I contacted a friend, who is a registered dealer. However, he is not currently registered at Coparts.

Thanks for the info bigs, I am trying to get my friend to sign up.  I told him I would pay all fees.

Hopefully I can land this one at a good price.

WIW guys?  I have an amount in mind, but would like to hear from some of you as well.

With the trim it has, it may be a Western Sport Special?

Best of luck in securing this car, 67Vertman!!!  As for a maximum price, I'd think $4,500-$5,000 wouldn't be too much to pay for it. :dunno:

With international internet bidding you would not belive some of the prices I see on a weekly basis. It really seperates the men from the boys. I saw a tacky 67 Chevelle bring over 7G's last week. Street you may be a little conservative. 67 go for it!! Good Luck  :2thumbs:
