Here are the rears on finally. I have some goodyear 235/55/r17s i got for a steal to put on the front wheels when they get here.  wont match, but it'll definately better than the two different wheels

What do you have to do to get the 17s on the front? Do you need spacers or anything?

Since the mustang wheels (american racing, but use mustang size hubs) use a smaller diameter hub. They won't perfectly clear over the hub on the front rotors. I'll have the rotor hubs machined down a hair (~.030"), same diamter as the drum opening to make it work. I mayyyyy need a little spacer on the front so i can run the pretty center cap. Can't find out till i get the hubs milled down.  :clueless:

Do you have a closer side shot of the rears?  Does the wheel well cover the tire at all?  With those 28"+ tall tires, your car might be a bit high?

Here is that same picture. Wheels are covered a little 1/4 some, but do remember i am running superstock springs on my car, so its a decent bit higher on the back than stock to begin with...

Here is kind of another shot that may help some. a big point in running the big rims is you have to have a tall tire..

here is my car with super stock springs and 26" slicks to give you some idea of how much space would be there with skinny tires

That makes sense, with my old sagging leafs, my wheel lip is only 24" from ground with 26" tires.  You are a good 4" above that.

Thx

From the ground to the very lip of my 1/4 panel is 27.5"
