New wheel test fitting - All Four On!
« on: August 04, 2007 - 02:08:02 PM »
Waiting on tires that will be here Monday. Went with Nittos, 295/45/zr18s. It'll take some massaging im sure to get them in there, but i do like the 'stuffed' well look  Wheels look lost in the wells without rubber, i may use some lowering blocks to compensate for the added lift the super stock springs give....if the tire clearance is there  :grinyes:

well?  :clueless:

Nice wheels. It's hard for me to visualize what it'll look like with rubber. Guess I'll just have to wait till you post some more pictures. :2thumbs:

Are those rims similar to the ones on the '72 Challenger your father owns?  They look really close in the photos, but I know they used larger rims on the car when it was on the show. (Or so I thought)

This isn't a shot at your dads car at all, but I like your wheels better than his.  As said before its hard to visualize what its gonna look like with rubber, but so far your wheels look more "muscle car-ish" than your dads.  I just never have grown to like the "rubber band slapped onto a wagon wheel" look thats big these days.  I like a little meat with my taters if ya know what I mean.  I think they'll look good matched up with the yellow of your car.

it needs some 'lovin' on the front. Likely turn the hub
