Son of fishn4cudas Barracuda
« on: August 04, 2007 - 03:26:46 PM »
Well my son turns 15 this Dec and he wanted to dig his car out of storage. I told him since its his car he needs to work on it himself and I'll help. He had a smile from ear to ear when we got it out. It's a 67 Barracuda and he wants a 340 in it but I'd rather put a 318 in to start. We'll see.

Yea, the 318 is probably a good idea. We had a 67 Barracuda when I was a kid. It was the family car. It was either a /6 or a 318. I don't remember.

Tony,

With that hoodscoop and all, I can envision that car looking like Old's Cool's car. You son probably isn't ready for that either.

Well, as they say, the acorn doesn't fall too far from the tree. Good luck to you and your boy on yet another project.

Cool ride for sure. Put a 340/360 in it with a smaller cam and when he is ready you 2 can do a cam swap together   :working:  :burnout:

looks like a perfect driver.  if you got the 318 just 4 barrel/header it out,he'll be fine.  mayby run the smaller twin scoops for the "cool factor" :D
