Dash removal
« on: August 04, 2007 - 04:04:27 PM »
Hello all,

I am in search of pics that show where the screws, bolts or nuts are located in order to remove my dash.

Per this post "Dash Teardown, http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/index.php?topic=34798.0"

I have done the following,

Disconnected the wiring harness from the fire wall.
Removed the two bolts on the side.
Dropped the steering wheel.

Do I have to remove the gauges?  If not then great.  If so, then how do I remove the two small chrome knobs in the front.  One is for my tach.  The other I don't know.  I have a ralley cluster.

Last, do I need to remove the screws for the ductwork?  Is the ductwork located on the passenger side?  I have a vert.

Put the 2 bolts back into the sides about half way.

Disconnect antenna, heater and speedometer cables, the bracket from the heater core to the dash and if A/C car also hoses.
Two screws per side from each corner of the defroster ducts.
Tilt the dash towords you and remove from the side bolts.
